Problem

Sometimes a salesperson needs to modify a sale order after it has been confirmed. In some cases, the sale order may also be linked to a related purchase order. However, in the current setup, the salesperson does not have the authority to revert a confirmed order back to the draft state — only an administrator can do so. Moreover, the administrator must go through several steps and manually verify any related inventory or purchase records before reverting the order.

Solution

To streamline the process, we introduced a single button that allows the salesperson to revert the sale order to the draft state. This action automatically manages any linked records, such as received or delivered products and related purchase orders — all with just one click!
